Holipay is the WayAway Plus alternative for flight cashback.
WayAway
put cashback behind WayAway Plus, a paid membership.
compares airlines and agencies with no fee to join, and eligible bookings can earn up to 10% back. You pay the airline or the agency. Holipay does not sell the ticket and does not add a markup.
What Plus was selling
WayAway's help center, still on wayaway.io/faq, describes flight cashback of up to 5% after you pay for Plus, depending on the airline or agency. Plus also covered hotels, cars, and tours, and paid cashback in dollars to PayPal. The homepage at wayaway.io now redirects to Aviasales, which is a flight search, not that wallet. People who typed WayAway looking for cashback are looking for the Plus half, and it is no longer what the front door opens.
If you wanted that wider shelf, hotels and cars in one paid plan, Plus was built for it. If you wanted the flight, the membership was the part in the way.
What you get instead
| WayAway Plus | Holipay | |
|---|---|---|
| Fee before cashback | A paid membership | None |
| Flight cashback | Up to 5% | Up to 10% on eligible bookings |
| Who you pay | The airline or agency | The airline or agency |
| Payout | Dollars to PayPal | Euros, PayPal or bank, from €100 |
| Hotels and tours | Part of Plus | Not the product |
Up to 10% is a ceiling. The amount on a Holipay result is an estimate until the partner confirms you flew. Most fares pay less. A cancelled trip pays nothing. On a €400 fare the ceilings are €20 at 5% and €40 at 10%, before you subtract a membership you only pay on one of these products.
The longer comparison is Holipay as a WayAway alternative. How to move a search across is switching from WayAway. Withdrawal rules are on how Holipay works.
Is Holipay the best WayAway Plus alternative?
For flight cashback without a membership, yes. For a paid plan that also chases hotels and tours, Plus was the wider product. Pick the job you actually have.
Does the 10% apply to every fare?
No. It is the maximum. Check the estimate, then trust the confirmed wallet credit.
